Here's a wonderful music video and some good links from Ezzie

Playing catch-up, I discover that Cleveland rocks.

Ezzie, could I bother you for the lyrics to Kol Hamitpalel? I get as far as "Everyone who prays in this place in Jerusalem, it's as if he prayed before the Seat of Glory." The rest is beyond my Hebrew comprehension. Where can I find this quote?

Sha'ar Hashamayim Sham Hu - the gates of Heaven are there

U'v'Pesach Pasuach - And with an open door

Lishmoa Tefillah? - not sure exactly what the first word is, but basically "He listens to prayer".

I think that's the second line, can't make out the end clearly enough. But that's the basic idea.

Oh, thanks, that helps, especially the second line--I switched to the Sefardi pronunciation when I was about 24 (over thirty years ago), and don't really recognize Hebrew words in Ashkenazi pronunciation very well anymore. Any idea what they're quoting? Maybe I could look it up.

No, actually. I was wondering the same thing.
